Default APC Short Shifter, Any Good?

I have the opportunity to pick a used APC short shifter. Are they any good? The only thing I know about APC is that they manufacture a lot of cheesy looking parts. Good, Bad?

get an integra dual bend shifter...thats what I have...much better quality and the feel is right...

good short shifters are skunk2, dc sports, B&M

APC is usually the cheapest way to do something...other than ebay...which I happen to frequent...

I had a 20 dollar shifter I got from ebay. After it was installed it felt great and worked great for a while. Over time the bearings wore and I could not keep the shifter tight, it rattled constantly. I just replaced it with a skunk2 single bend today. Just by looking at the pieces side by side you can tell which one is the better item. After installing the skunk2 unit and some polyurethance bushing, I don't know what inspired me to go the cheap route. I definately agree with the term, you get what you pay for.

either get a skunk2 or integra 2 bend shifter. ANY other short shifter will break eventually. we've broken 4 different brands so far.
