Default Anyway to adjust uneven trunk gaps around bumper?

I was looking at my Eg because the taillights look uneven on the passengers side. If I could even the gap on that side at the bumper with the smae gap on the drivers side then my tails on the passengers side would look even. The inner tail sits a little higher than the outer and it really is bothering me.

I'm even thinking about taking them out putting OEM back in and just smoking the top half with the Wal-Mart windshield tint

Here's a pic of the gap. It's not much, but you can follow the line from the passengers side to the drivers and see the gap gets smaller

Anyway to tighten that gap up?

Thanks!

for some reason they tend to do that.. ..keep in mind aftermarket will never fit like OEM when it comes to those type of parts...my friend has the same problem so...just live with it...

Thanks! Yeah, aftermarket parts can (and usually do) fit like $hit! I e-mailed the ebayer who I bought the lights from and also sent pics. The guy never got back with me. I may just leave some neutral or negative feedback. But, I think the top half smoked will go better with the wheels, headlights, and the c/f hood when I get it

when you open the trunk, there should be bolts that connect the trunk to the car. you can loosen those bolts and try to push the right side of the trunk. i had the same problem with my, only it was the left side

from my experience, honda body parts fit extremely well compared to aftermarket body parts.

you might try to dremel out the holes for the bolts to where they are slotted, like a distributor. that way you can adjust em till they fit

I agree also, but I got into an accident recently, so nothing lines up, and everything squeaks.

if it doesn't leak, don't worry about it unless its a show car

...but remeber when your trying to fix it. "If you can't duck it, F**K it!"

I'm not going to (after thinking about the entire transaction). The shipment was fast. I'm going to smoke my OEM's install them and ebay the red / clears

The smoke will go better with the gunmetal wheels anyhow
