Default anyway a 89 crx clutch will work on a eg?

i have a spare stock 89 crx Si clutch disk and pressure plate. any chance this would work on my stock 94 cx? i am putting the stock engine back in it, but i dont have the stock clutch anymore, and dont want to buy a new one just to turn around and sell the car.

i know it is a long shot cuz of cable and hydrolic, and probably size difference... but worth a shot. thanks

ok, well i know the disk will slide on perfect to the final drive shaft (i guess that is what it is called?) i just went out and tested it on my 94 cx tranny. i just dont know if they work the same and if the over all diameter of the pressure plate is the same...

nope... false.... 88 had different # of splines..... know from experience... 89+ are probably the same though...i thought 90+ had bigger diameter...

yup, the 90+ will probably all work, but the 89 pressure plate ended up being a hair too small in diameter. thanks for the help though!
