Did the valves leave marks on the top of your pistons?

its just you, the valves dont line up with the seats in any way shape or form, my question is how the hell you're gonna get them out?

will the bent *** valves really just slide right out of their stems? doesn't seem like it would be that easy.

Yeah when valves bend they bend up near the face, or if they bend further up the stem they just dont go back into the guide, they stay open... so yeah they just slide out

running b16a2
They actually didn't leave any mark on the piston tops... luckily...i think i was very fortunate because i know that alot worse could have happend.
but i'm not gonna take them out myself since i have to bring the head to a machine shop to get the new valves re-seated anyways. I'm gonna have them do all the dirty work I'm just gonna put it all back together haha

Could have been worse, like turbotime's pics. That must have happened at high rpms, thats the worst damage I've seen from broken valves in a while.

nope happened just cruising down the highway, 80mph;4krpms;5% throttle, sputter .. sputter... off.
But it didint just ben the valves, it dropped a whole valve face into cylinder #1, then recirculated that into all the other cylinders (thanks turbo!!)
