yups....i can vouch that its direct bolt on. even better to prove it i have a 94 dx motor with a 99 ex tranny. besides swapping over the bracket on the tranny its the same. if you have a 92-95 ex tranny then you dont even need to swap brackets....if you have a 96-00 you'll need to. but besides that its totally bolt on.

On 92 to 95 manual trans civics you don't have to worry about different axles & hub/knuckle. Only on 88 to 91 did Hf & Standard civic/crx use different drivetrain parts from DX & Si.

i dont have a ex but i have an hx which is almost the same. i love it. it bolted right up and all the harnesses and wires fit perfectely. but unfortunately i have to take it out again to rebuild it. but oh well. it was only 100bux
