I got my spoon lip yesterday and i put it on and when i looked at it it is literally an inch and a half from the damn ground. i will destroy this thing if i drive like this. how all you guys running your cars that low and with the spoon lip? i want to keep it on and jack it up some but i will only have a 2 and 1/2 inch clearance. how you guys do it? im jelous i want to know, i would think i would waste it on some roadkill or something

You don't. You lift your car up a little bit.

It be terrible to drive anywhere, but youll be styling until it breaks off. Raise it up a bit.

i wonder if you can cut off the lining inside the lip and bolt it up higher cause the damn thing starts underneath the stock bumper instaed of igher like the oem lip
pisses me off i might try and modify it to sit higher im just a little weary about chopping up a $500 lip

dont chop up anything...u NEED to raise your car up...or ditch the lip..simple as that...you shouldn't have gotten it if dont wanna raise your car...you should have gotten a mugen lip or something...those sit on top where the grill is instead of sitting below it.
this one is mine...i scrape, actaully already cracked it....like i said..either raise your car up or ditch the lip...if i could i would raise a lil but i can't cause i'm on springs not coilovers

mine is 2 inches at most from the floor and I drive on 17s. It took a good beaten and it still in one shape but isnt healthy. Just raise the car. Its gonna get fudged up eventually if you drive it everyday.

Also, you might want to go get a fiber glass kit and lay some more fiberglass in between the bottom of the two vent, the narrow passages. Those are the first to scrap and break

You're going to scrape EVERYWHERE... watch out for the gas tank caps that stick out of the ground at gas stations, I had an eclipse with a lip that was an inch off the ground and it caught on one of those and put a three inch tear on my bumper... LOL.
