That's because it is too good to be true. It's a scam. Your only 19 and have a little bit to learn about life. No biggy though. Just don't give them any money!!!

Let's look at the obvious facts shall we?
1) What is this company promoting? What product are they trying to push? Usually if a company is sponsoring you it's because they want to sell more of their turbo systems...or whatever it is they manufacture

2) If a sponsor can give you 12K in sponsorship money, then why do the need $88.00 from you?

3) Being sponsored does not mean that you have to EVER give them money...it's the other way around. Due to the fact that your car 'bad ***', would mean that they give you money or free product to promote their name. Get it?

You are merely buying into a scam/discount club. I've read up on these ***** out of pure curiousity. The only thing you get is 12K in discounts on a bunch of misc. ****.

Do a search for "Sport compact pro" or "racer X sponsorship" in the archives. This company and it's sponsorships are pretty common to HT'ers.

No.... you pay like an $80 application fee and then they let you buy parts from certain sites. You pay the full retail price and then they take a % off of that or somthing. So the savings you get on the parts keeps adding up until you hit the $12k mark then you dont get the discount anymore. Basically your getting ripped off.

It is a total scam!!!!! I know like 10 people that have been cought up in this. What they do is ask for a card # for little things and the remainder of what you owe for parts after the money they give you for parts is gone........stuff like that. Before you know it, your account statement says it has a balance of a couple hundred more than you ever charged. Then they vanish. I have been chased by these guys at different shows all the time. They will not let you go if you show any interest at all.

My advice......TURN THE OTHER WAY AND DON'T FORGET TO FLIP 'EM OFF AS YOU'RE WALKING AWAY SHOUTING SCAMMERS SO EVERYONE ELSE CAN HEAR YOU.

Did you not read my post??? The products you buy are so fkn marked up its not funny. They will charge you like $300 for a Vafc when you can go on Ebay and buy a brand new one for like $230. They are making money off of you. You are a sucker, plain and simple. Id walk away now, cut your losses at $80.

search again i can remeber a bunch of threads about this scam! they say they want the best cars but they will take anyone cause all they want is your money then you never hear from them again. but if you dont want to take everyones advise send them your money and see what happens but dont come back on here saying that you got scammed cause we told you so!

So your saying you tried searching?

Go to search right now. Type in sport compact pro and hit Archive, or typ in racerx and press archive search. I just did this and came up with like 8 threads.

I posted 2 different threads for you to read. One is from a Lexus forum, that way you can see its not just a Honda guy thing, and the other is to a 3 page thread from here on HT.

B. Your paying more money for products. Look how I broke it down to you. They sell it at the MSRP price. They split that in half. 99% of the time you can still find for alot cheaper than half of MSRP. So therefore you are paying more.

I dont care if you pursue this further etc. Its your money etc. You have access to see about this company, alot of people here on HT know about this and say its a bad idea.

If it wasnt a bad idea dont you think we would all be using this sponsorship stuff and signing right up? Its BS and they make money off of you. Hell I have never heard of them even asking for pics of the cars. What kind of company sponsors someone without seeing the car???

My bro got that sponsership. He never sent in the final paper work, to finish the deal. The way, they say, it works is that they give you a limit. Then you buy stuff though them at wholesell prices. and you have to go to 4? car shows. Has anyone gone though with it?
