Default Anyone see any problems with drilling my own rotor holes?

I need new rotors for my 4x114.3 ITR setup. I've read through a ton of threads and posts about how certain rotors have been proven and disproven to work. I'm going to buy GSR rotors and re-drill them for 4x114.3.

Does anyone foresee a problem with drilling them myself or should i take it to a machine shop? I' don't see any problems that could happen except it'll take a strong bit to drill them.

if you're going to buy rotors anyways why not buy 4x114.3?

As far as I've seen it's almost impossible in North America to buy 4x114.3 rotors to fit the ITR. It was only produced in Japan.

There are many threads debating if the preludes and accords do fit and the consensus was no.

Don't really see a problem. People drill their Legend rotors for a NSX set up for civics...

if ya drill the holes either use the one that came off the car and to get a better pattern clamp the 2 together and use the old rotor as a guide for the drill press. be sure its perfectly lined up! even off the slightest bit can give you a wheel wobble that will never end!

The rotor holes don't need to be precise to .001 inches, the wheel holds it in place anyway, just make sure you use the set screws.

And when I saw this thread I thought you meant making your own cross drilled rotors, and I was going to hunt you down and hit you with a fish.

This is actually what i had planned, just take the old ones off and try to be exact as possible

Thanks for the help
