Default anyone running 16x7's and no camber kit? on EG's?

As the title states,
is anyone out there running no camber kit with 16x7's on their eg,
dropped low of course.. not DUMPED but droped alot.

how bad's the camber wear?

I've run 15x6.5's in the past and the wear was acceptable,
but i'm worried that the stiffer wheel/tire setup wont flex as much and thus have more camber wear.

oh i'm thinking 205-45-16's also,

depends on the tire and the tread wear on that tire.

ex.

azens(sp) would wear alot faster then some yoko yk420's

I've got 16x7's with 205-40-16 Khumo Ecsta's. No camber kit and camber wear is not bad at all. I would however suggest a 45 series tire with 16's though. My car is lowered but not slammed, here's a pic for reference.

im running 205/45/16, it rubs alot... but my car is to be considered a bit low for a tire such this size....

205/45R16 +40 offset on Neuspeed Sport Springs. Not as low as some of the others here, but it still rubs in the back accellerating hard out of a corner. I havent rolled the fenders yet though, which should cure the problem. If it doesnt, Ill flare the back 1/4-1/2".

93 CX

H&R Sport w/ Tokico Blues
- 1.5"
Racing Gear VRII's
- 16x7
Kuhmo 711's
- 205/40-16

No camber kit needed. Didn't even effect tire wear.

thanks for asking,
car is still just sitting for now,
I'm looking for a replacement, its REALLY tough to find a good deal on a hatch around here!!

But i'm looking, also looking for wheels for it too
considering the rota gab knockoffs.. they look so nice! always been a fan of gabs.. but yeah.. it would kind of be lame.

ok.........

Anyways, but make sure you Toe Adjustment is correct and you wont have irregular tire wear. Also, dont get too soft of a compound, otherwise they will wear in general more quickly.

When you say dropped, how dropped are we talking?

some light shed on the situations ... i've got a 2" drop all around 16X7's with 45 profile slight rubbing on top inside corner os wheel well liner .... no irregular tire wear .. it's all about the toe

i'd say i'm dropped about this much, and I probably will get a fairly soft compound, its all about grip man, I can live with wearing out my sticky tires.. but I just dont want it to be something ridiculous

Heres another one.
215/45/zr16 azenis's on 16x7+42 ce28n's
My car wasint slammed and I had very high spring rates.

I would rub ocasionally in the rear and at full lock. But only when I had multiple rear passengers or was turning into a drive way and going faster than I should.

Sorry I for got to mention That I didnt have a camber kit and for the 10,000+km the wheels were on my car I had very little wear.
I did not have my car aligned or corner weighted after I lowered it. The car drove straight before I had suspension and it did after I upgraded so I wasint really worried about it.

I think tire wear really comes down to how good your alignemnt is (toe wise). Thats my non professional opinion.
