um i had them do a no vtec ecu for my b20 swapped ek(intake and exhaust) and they did a horrible job. my car would bog thru all 5 gears. so i just bought a p75 and ive been running that ever since.
a few ppl in my town have had good experiences with them but me and a few friends didnt get soo lucky.

i know of 2 others. jk tuning and xenocron. never bought anything from any of them tho. i was going to buy a chip kit and do it myself but laziness got the better of me again.

You have to realize that all of these guys doing chips with random basemaps are just giving you their best guess as to your engine's condition and how all of your mods are going to work with it. Without a dyno, they're just guessing and results are not always the best... but they do it because people are still willing to pay.
In your case, I really think it was just bad luck that they dropped a standard B20 map that your particular engine didn't like. If you say it's running great on a stock P75 ECU, that supports that theory, since a P75 will run completely different maps than a normal B20 would run best on. I could be wrong... but I don't necessarily think it's phearable's fault.
Other than that, I've not really heard anything bad about them.

I've heard the same, but a base map is just as it's been said, their best guess, which may not be a good one. I'd say just get a Moates Ostrich, a Demon, or reburnable EPROMs, etc and upload a base map on there, and then it can be tweaked.
There's a guy in my town running a base map on a P28 for his B16 that just has GSR cams, an intake, header and exhaust, but that's so common that they probably have a few known good ones.
