Anyone removed the A/C vents from 92-95? Pics? How?

Anyone removed the A/C vents from 92-95? Pics? How?

I have a spare bezel and was trying to remove the cross hatch plastic vents. Having no luck and really don't want to break them. Not sure what I will do with the opening. I don't have any a/c or heat componets in the car so just want to remove them and decide from there.
