anyone know where to get Philips X-TReme H4 bulbs in the u.s.???? i have only found them being sold in the u.k.

I don't know of any current US retailers, but Autolamps-Online has free shipping that is surprisingly quick.

Best place to get phillips bulbs IMO

How about http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk? Not sure if they sell them but that's who I've had experience with.

I bought my Osram H4 & H1 SilverStars there and both were shipped to me within one business week https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif. The H4's actually even arrived on a saturday morning.

yeah i'll just try from the u.k. then. how much better and longer lasting are they than the silverstars?
oh yeah and how much does shipping to the states cost from autolamps?

Phillips &gt; silverstars by a longshot.

I've heard of many people with silverstars replacing bulbs a couple times each year.

Phillips stands behind their product much more.

I was sold the Philips Vision Plus' and I wasn't impressed at all. They were almost the same as Sylvania OEM Replacements.

My H4 Osram's have yet to fail on me and I've had them for 3 months. I've had the H1's for about a month now.

It will probably be a while until there's enough information to determine the typical life-span for the X-treme Powers, but the performance advantage is quite pronounced.
