anyone know the thread size??
does anyone know what size thread the tappet nut and bolt are on a gsr/b16 rocker arms? i need to buy a tap so i can debur the threads to run my bolt in and i can not find anywhere the size of the threads..any help would be great!

I don't know the pitch unfortunately. If you can get your hands on a thread
pitch gauge you'll have your answer in no time. Pretty cheap and handy to
have around. They will be included in any decent tap/die set, or you can buy
them separately.

you have the bolt? try several fine thread metric nuts on it until it screws on easy, ace usually has the best selection of metric nuts and bolts as does fastenal if you have one it's probably going to be a fine if i remember right

i went to ace actually and they didnt have ****...i was there for 45 min checking every single nut and bolt..the tappet nut and bolt is so fine its hard to know...i need to know so i can order a tap and fix my problem!

I went back to ace and to home depot and I asked for a pitch guage and they handed me a tool to see if my bolt would thread into...so idk what u are saying easy to find...maybe ill just take iit to a machine shop tomorrow

don't ask. go look for yourself. just because they work there doesn't mean they are all that knowledgeable beyond where it might be.

If forced to bet, then from the torque specification and the fact the nut takes a 10 mm socket, I would put it at M6x1. But you are going to have to check per the suggestions above.

The M6X1.0 is the right size due to the 10mm socket reference. If it has the 12mm socket bolt head then it would be a M8X1.0. I bought the taps and corresponding drill bits recently from Sears/Craftsman.
