anyone know how to put ITR suspension on EK
Hey
i found this really good deal on itr suspension. but i have a 98 ek and i know that the shoucks wont fit.
But the guy is willing to give me wat ever i need from his itr to install it on my ek.
My question was:
What do i need from the Integra Type R to install its suspension on to my EK 98
grate thanks to the people with answers

You can use the civic OEM struts if you use the civic LCAs.
You need the following:
Complete front knuckles with disc, pads, calipers
rear trailing arms with disc, pads, calipers, and parking brake cables
also if you use the jdm itr suspension then you need the jdm itr axels 36mm, if USDM then you can use ur civic axels
Thats all you basically need
thats exactly wat i had gotten and installed on my ek

but i dont want to do 5 bolt conversion, so i really have to use the itr disks.
cause as much as i know so far, is that i need the itr lower control arms for the rear and the front needs nothing.
but im still not sure, thats all i know so far.

you cannot use the itr rear lca's. they will not work on an ek. aside from that, the front spindle and rear trailing arm complete will work.

Re: (ej0513)
You will need the ITR LCA's to accept the ITR rear shocks, but the EK LCA's are not the same as DC2. I agree with the others, just buy coilovers made for your car. BTW, are you getting the ITR rear sway bar too? I think that alone might make as much of a difference in handling as changing to ITR springs/struts.

So far i know that i need the ITR lower control arms; thats not a problem i can get those from him too.
Wat about the front is there anything that i need from the itr for that?

whoa! wtf.. fronts have forks? hmm.. well in that case.. take a pic to we could see it so we can tell you what you need.. any who.. this is what it should look like. its a small pic, but you can see the fork for the rears and the other thing for the front.
edit: maybe what your talking about forks on the front is that this seller included the OE piece that you already have on your EK.. is that it?

I didn't know the rears have forks. Are these for ITR? I thought ITR rears mounted to the arm differently. They have the bushing in the shock instead of the arm unlike other civics and integras.

They're shocks. 01+ Civics and RSX's use struts.
