Default anyone know how to install a momo shiftknob?

hey, i bought my car used, and it has a momo shiftknob on it. I am trying to take it off but its not working. Can anyone tell me how to do this correctly? thanks.

I think it is a Momo "combat" shiftknob.

Check on the sides of the **** and see if there are allen screws, a lot of aftermarket shift ***** slide on and then screw into the side of the shifter.....kinda dig into the shifter and make them look ugly.

Unscrew the cap... loosen the allen screws... it will lift right off. There may also be a plastic shim/cap that fits over the shift lever that the allen screws bite into.

I love my leather Momo Super Ergonomic shift ****. 9.5 years and going strong. They also made great groomsmen gifts when I got married!

Try using a rubber "gripper" like you use to help take off screw on lids in the kitchen. Or a pair of soft jawed pliers would work. Of course.... you "are" trying to turn the cap the correct way?
