that sounds like a really bad idea. Do you have some want for a chemical burn?

Sounds like a bad idea? We are about 100ft away with LONG wires. I just need to know HOW to blow it up, not whether I should or not.

we used to do that at the dealership for recalls all the time. there is usually a device that does it but you should be able to do it with just a battery. hint: turn it upside down and watch it shoot 25 feet in the air! it's loud as **** too

granted that you are very far away... it might be safe.. if you find out how to do it.. you have to record and post it.

have you tried connecting it to the 12v battery then touching the + and - together? that might do it ..ive never done this before but i also have one that id like to do someday..i think the idea of turning it upside down and launching it into the air is great

Ok, we did figure it out. Didn't have anything to record it with though.
You ground the body of the airbag. There are 2 pink wires. Ground one of them also, and then connect the body/pink wire to the (-) and the other pink to (+). Pretty impressive.
Also note, we had it BOLTED to a big industrial dumpster, and it moved the dumpster and broke the bolts off.

that's the type of force I look forward to when I get into an accident.

Feels better than smashing in your face on the vinyl-wrapped metal rim of the steering wheel . . .
Besides, if you're wearing your seat belt like you should, it will hold you back from the full force of the airbag.

true.. but it sounds menacing.... I guess when observed in that way I would opt for the chemical burns and a rip stop nylon bag in the face.

Coming from first hand experience a few times, you do not get chimical burns. The only burn you get is compareable to rug burn from you face dragging across the air bag.

Yea they are...but thank God that the material they are made out of does not hold heat well. From my experience the bag itself cools off in a matter of seconds. The steering wheel on the other hand stays hot for quite some time.

Plug it into your steering wheel and drive as fast as you can into a tree.

Why is it the guys with the most posts always have the most clever responses, but the Trial Users never have anything good to say?

Right when I saw the thread title I knew I was gonna say that, but then judging by the number of posts I also assumed it would have already been said so I read through. I'm amazed it took so long...

Strap a couple m90s to it and blow it up. if this does not work take it and put it against a tree grab a shotgun or a glock and then start blasting the the hell out of it.
