i have the plug and wiring all the way to pins that look like they went to the ecu. when i stripped the hacked harness i forget where and what plug i pulled them from its been so long. on a manual car where do they normally go? maybe to the green plug that is connected to engine harness that runs under the dash?

the plug should be connected to the transmission.
the wires from that plug go to a connector under the radio console (the same connector that has the clutch switch wires)

if u have no idea what im talking about, here's a pic i took.
granted, this is for an auto-to-manual eg coupe, the connector should be the same for 92-00 civics. the connector is circled in red, and the blue arrow is pointing to the two wires that SHOULD go to the connector that attaches to your transmission. i never wired mine in.

the reverse plug is wired in your engine harness so if it dont go to the ecu it has to go to the green plug thats also connected to the engine harness that goes behind the dash. with my auto swap i never had cruise control so i never wired a clutch switch its bypassed. the way ur showing it is the way i had it ran before but id rather have it wired in the engine harness as im currently doing a wire tuck and shaved bay it would make this a cleaner install instead of splicing and having 2 wires ran out the engine bay separate from the engine harness. im pretty sure i could figure it out if i can confirm it goes to the green plug on the engine harness by the ecu.
