anyone install power windows ghetto!!! tell me!!! 97 civic dx

i already got the motors in and the pass side wired. the driver side has been going up and down with my drill battery!! mad ghetto. i have the relay, drivers side harness and switch, only one catch the harness was cut from the junkyard and i had no idea that i needed it. so how can i wire it up like this, i know there is a way just dont want to try in case i kill the driver side switch. please help!!

just need to figure out if there is a way to wire the drivers side with the relay and fuses using a cut harness, i have plenty of wiring experience but i need some guidance. that's what huh

i have power in my ek hatch... but i did a swap off my ex coupe so i had everything... it's hard to tell what you need cause we dont know what you have.

You can. All you have to do is run the power and switch wires to the actual fuse under the driverside das. Run the Driverside wires and wrap it around one side of the fuse and then the passanger side wire to the otherside of the fuse. For power just use something like the clock radio fuse and do the same. Might sound confusing but thats the way I have it in my car. All it is, is: Running the wires to the fuse with out using a harness.

well if u have both door and floor harnesses, despite being cut, you could just rewire them and solder the connections together and plug it into the fuse box. Thats where u need to plug everything including the relay, and the additional fuses u need to add.

yea i read that link earlier and it was certainly helpful, i just wanted to know if i could just run the wires to the fuse bow and relay the way the two previous posts had described, gonna give it a whirl this weekend. any more suggestions, details?

Dude if u have the harness if should just plug into the fuse box. You need to have the relay in order for the windows to work too, as well as additional fuses
