I did it, but I honestly regret it. I used a knife. It turned out nice, but I just don't like seeing that hole there all the time. Plus, your filter gets dirty alot faster.

that doesn't make any sense. the ITR and Si CAIs both put the filters in the same spot... they just rout the piping different ways.

only if you use the intake from a 99-00 Si. ITR and GSR intakes go under the frame. you don't need to cut or anything

i have a sold air for my Ek and you don't cut a hole, the piping runs right of where the normal hole is for a intake and then goes down behind the bumper and goes to the left in to the fender, stick your hand down there feel around, i do believe it is the same on g3 tegs

yeah you definitely have to cut a hole for CAI on ek's. I used a drill to start the hole and then airplane snips to cut it, then dremeled it smooth, looks stock. Yeah there is an outline so its pretty easy.

this is a prime example of why VAGUE questions shouldn't be made. people are answering this guys' questions in two totally different ways.
edit......we can't assume which intake this guy wants to run....integra or civic....
