anyone have a writeup on changing a headgasket?
i'd like to save myself 300 bucks and replace my headgasket my self. Can someone direct me towards a write up?

It's really not difficult taking a head off. Just make sure you have all the torque specs and a WORKING torque wrench. I helped my buddy put his head back on once, the next day we found out the torque wrench was off by a lot. Had to redo the whole thing.
You can prolly figure it out on the fly, but you should be able to search for a write up as well.
