Anyone have type-r seats in a 99-00 Si?

Default Anyone have type-r seats in a 99-00 Si?

anyone have either JDM or USDM type-r seats in thier 99-00 Si? post pics. if you do. do they bolt right in with the civic rails or do u need the type-r rails?

They'll work with the type R rails but they'd need to be modified. If you have the Civic rails, it'll probably be easier just to use those.

They'll work with the type R rails but they'd need to be modified. If you have the Civic rails, it'll probably be easier just to use those.
personally i wouldn't want to use civic rails because i'd be higher than ITR rails, plus with civic rails u don't get the "Fold forward and then push forward" feature, cause not all seatrails for civic's have it.

I guess it’s up to what you like then. Personally I don’t mind the seat height of my civic rails and wouldn’t want to go as low as the ITR rails would put me.

Than again, I hadn’t even thought of the slide feature. Thanks for bringing that up. Now I’m going to have to re-think this install next week. Maybe I will keep the teg brackets and just modify them, instead of swapping to the Civic’s brackets, where I won’t get that feature. But if you’re talking an Si like this guys asked about, than he’s got the feature and would only have to swap the brackets from his Civic seats.

with civic rails the ITR seat sat lower than stock
