Anyone have the TYC EG 92-95 Civic HID one piece?
I remember a couple months ago some people here were asking if anyone used the the TYC one piece HID headlights for the EG. I don't think there ever were any definitive pictures or comments on how it looked. It's been a few months so I was wondering if anyone ever got them? Any pics?
Thanks.

I'm more concerned with the actual lighting on the road with the HID kit built in. I want to get it, but at 550 bucks, it's pretty expensive. I just wanted to check with you guys to see if you had any personal experience.
Thanks for the pics everyone.

Re: (limdoug)
i have a set of those headlights but without the HID for sale on ebay. they're SUPER bright even without the HID. if you're interested in those instead, they're gonna go cheaper than 500+ and they were only used for about a month
and plastic pwns glass. thus why not only s2k headlights but also JDM headlights are plastic...downside is that over years they will fog (or burn). but oh well. lol

Those headlights are what I am looking for. I'm gonna do a retrofit into those. Right now I got denji retrofit with s2k. I hate the glass cause it sucks.

I used to work for a major lighting company and when they asked me what new product they should make. I recommended a 1 pce headlight for the 92-95 civic. But in OEM look. Like the 90-93 Integ 1 pce. They shot down the idea. I was pissed.
This was about 1-2 years before the TYC version came out. sorry for the rant, still annoyed by it 6 years later. hehe.

Re: (floored4door)
EURO Golf IV projectors into TYC EG headlights.
The last shot is the cutoff line for the EURO Golf projector. Only one light is lite up in that shot. I was still working on the other one.

floored4door...that looks like a really nice cutoff line espeically since you didn't do a retro. this makes me think that the TYC one piece with HIDs would look really good...but probably not as good as an OEM retro.

That pic looks like they were broken off w/a hammer...lol.
What is that around the rim? It's clean in the rest of the pics.
Good job to you guys...I lust after HID projectors.

Re: (B and B)
bake for about 10 minutes around 200 degrees F.
You have to be REAL careful prying them apart around the tabs, the plastic is really thin compared to Denji's and OEM honda lights.
The stuff around the plastic is permatex ultra clear silicone. U don't see that part when the hood is closed.

There really isn't all that much more info. The bulbs needed a little modifing to get them to work with that housing but i have had ZERO problems what so ever with the HID's. I haven't seen a TYC One piece that had HIDS included so to speak. I just threw in the McCulloch 6000k H1 kit and there you have it! All plug and play. HID's here purchased from HID-SIN.com.
