Anyone have success chipping a P29 ecu?
I'ved owned p28s and p30s and have easily been able to chip them, however, I just got ahold of a p29 ECU and its internals is extremely different from the P28 and p30s, however it does have the expansion slot of the socket. Has anyone on here ever chipped this ECU with success, if you have, please let me know what to do, and thanks in advance!

please forgive my ignorance....but what does p29 come in? is it vtec? obd-15?
all of these things factor into how "chippable" it is, but 9/10 i bet it is, simply because its between p28 and p30 and they both are chippable.

Re: (2lua)
P29 is usually the DOHC ZC
Mine is small case
Not sure why yours is big case
where did you get the engine and ECU
I know that carb'd engines didn't come with 02 sensors perhaps this is your ECU?
They DID offer carb'd SOHC ZC's in the 3G Integras (ZX)

It is a fuel inyected DOHC ZC. Thats the thing that confuses me, all DOHC ZC equipped civics came with this computer and no o2 sensor (All Si Sedans came like this STOCK.)
How is it possible to convert it to a p28?
