Anyone have a set of koni yellows sitting around...need measurement
If anyone has a set of koni yellows just sittin around, not installed, I need a measurement of the perch rings, front and rear, (inner diameter)...not the one that goes in the grooves on the shock but the ring that sits on that stay/clip (I hope that makes sense...). A measurement of the coil base's inner diameter would also work.
The inner diameter of those silver things for those that cant figure out what Im talking about (plus a pic for more traffic )
I am going to fabricate a spacer, to give me a little more wheel clearance, but really, really, really dont want to disassemble my shock/springs AGAIN (it would be the 3rd time in a week )
So yeah...Id really appreciate that.
EK if it matters..but probably doesnt

GL man,
if you fab some spacers, make some extra,
i'll shoot you some bucks for a set.
clean installs are always nice
remember this though, you MUST and I repeat MUST have metal laying on top of the circlip, AND running entirely down/around its outer edges.
hard to put that in text,
but if you look at the way the front perches are,
there is the metal circlip, then another spacer that the circlip sits up inside of.
if the circlip isnt up and inside of some metal used to support the weight of the springs, it can come loose.. which would be bad when ur drivin around.

Re: (Tad)
ok, if you are looking down at it the inner diameter is 1 5/8 inches
now flip it over the outer diameter is 1 7/8 inches
still upside down the smaller circle od is 1 6/8 inches
good luck!

dude please remember what I said about the circlip,
it MUST have something wrapping fulling around and over it.
once it's got that, you can stick whatever you want on top of it, it should be fairly tough.
