There anything special and needs to be done to a cage to be certified to run so fast or compete in a special class ?
Joe Blow cant just weld a pos cage in his garage and call it good right, it would need to be inspected ? what do they when they inspect it ?

unless you've built cages before I wouldn't recommend this - it is a science.

No, but some classes dictate that you can only use a bolted in cage as opposed to a welded in cage.

Some pics of my Art morrison roll cage while my car is in the body shop. $312 bucks for the cage, betta recognize!! heheh I like it. Still have to add the bar across the main hoop, but other than that, it's pretty much done.

Ladies and gents this is why you do not get a cheap cage or do it yourself. That a-pillar is pretty much worthless. You'd be just as well off with only a roll-bar. So now you've got roll-bar functionality with the pain of having a full-cage.

Correct. If you were in a rollover that a-pillar bar would just collapse - support structures in compression should not be bent in shape. All this is doing is giving it a place to do.
Also two diagonal braces in the rear section is just added weight. One will do just as good of a job.
