okay... coz today i asked my friend and he said that there are somthing missing in my engine and it seems like the guy who did the swap job for me wasn't doing things correctly
but the car runs okay with no problem, just curious about what missed and what can be affected

when you shift is there a large amount of engine shift, or when you are in High RMPs and go ON off ON off for the throttle does the engine move alot

The black strip there? its the plastic holder for the injector wires. Not a huge deal if its missing. If i'm looking at the right part.

Unceasing Measure
Take a torque rench or rachet and make sure all engine mounts are:
A.) intact
B.) present
C.) bolted on all the way
I'm sure if they're all 100% your engine will only rock Mustangs and not your car .

Pinched hose on the back shouldn't be a problem. Unless you need CA emissions and are using a charcol canister. The one on top of the TB also goes to the charcol canister I believe, i ran that one, just because i had a tube already in the car; not sure if its an issue. You do seem to be missing the IAT sensor plugged in, it takes temp readings from the intake manifold. That should get plugged in.

Re: anyone have JDM ITR swap in their cars? (splitime)
also the crack sensor is disconnect too (hope i spell it correctly)
it used to a problem that whenever the vtec come out and the ECU died, when the crack sensor connected
but after that guy disconnect the crack sensor, the car runs okay with no problem and the ECU come back to live again...
anyone have idea on that?
note: there is no CEL

any idea why that guy didn't plug in that IAT sensor? is he too lazy or there is any specific reason?
so if i use cold air intake, there is no different from before and after now, since there is no temperture reading of the air?
opps, i forgot another problem too, the car is idle too high even when the car is warm (1000 - 1100 rpm)
i tried to adjust the idle on the TB, but it didn't do anything, it seems like 1000 rpm is the lowest idle i can get...
thankz for the helping guyz

Re: anyone have JDM ITR swap in their cars? (SOL-R)
I think u got fucked kinda, honestly...why didnt he plug in the iat? it should be throwing a check engine light for that and for the KNOCK sensor if he unplugged that and you are using a dohc vtec ecu, looks like a ghetto *** swap imo, I'd tell him to fix it if I were you or get some money back so someone else can fix it. Maybe he yanked the bulb outa the cluster for the check engine light?

my friend said the same thing too, but the werid thing is we checked the engine light, and it's working properly....
that's wut i am wondering the purposes of why he didn't plug in the IAT and knock sensor...
besides, there aren't that many people know how to do that kinda stuffs or willing to fix it in Canada... at least in Vancouver

What ecu are you running? Depending on the ecu you might not need the knock sensor.
I'd try to figure out why the IAT was left unplugged. Knock isn't needed if you are using the jdm itr p73 ecu or a chipped p28.

the car is 96 delsol B16A2 model, i think it is OBD2, coz it doesn't need the OBD1 - OBD2 adapter harness...

the grey line on the back of the manifold goes to the evap purge stuff. if you have it, great, hook it up. mine didn't (ek) so i just pluged the line.
someone already told you that the black line on the TB goes to the charcole canister, this is correct. may as well hook it up. i have no idea what that black thing with the 2 nipples is. mine didn't come with one. what year is yours?
the iat may be responcable for the high idle. your car is also obd2
a few, probably worthless pics
i will try to get you better pics tomorrow in daylight
