Anyone have any experience replacing trailing arm bushings?
My 95 coupe is in need of rear trailing arm bushing replacement on both sides. Has anyone done this before? If so, how difficult was it? How expensive? What would you have done differently if you could go back and do it again? Thanks for replies, my friends.

YouTube. You can beat it out easy with penetrating lube. But I would recommend pressing it in. Don’t hammer it in like some of the videos. Yeah it’ll work but it’s not the right way. It’s cheap, autozone should have them in stock and possibly have a press to rent, I’d imagine you could use one of the C clamp ball joint presses I know they have. All in all it’s looks harder than it really is. I’d recommend using penetration lube on all suspension bolts and let it soak in, it’s very easy to strip those bolts! Good luck. P.S. the bushing is tapered so make sure your hammering/pushing in and out the correct way. Again YouTube. And be careful with your brake lines.

I used a press. Make sure to mark the orientation of the mounting flanges in relation to the trailing arms.
