hey genuis, when the people were saying they are having a hard time understanding this they ment "WHY THE **** WOULD SOME ONE PERPOSLY BUT A DIFFERENT COLOR BUMBER ON THERE CAR?"

they new what he meant but they don't understand why. and my guess is that all the ricer's that picked up on the JDM trend are gona make this "black bumper" thing the new hot "jdm" trend. WOOT WOOT im happy about that.

Or also if he used to be a VW owner. The euro thing to do was to have textured non painted front and rear bumpers. Thats how some of the VWs came over in Europe. Im new to hearing about a honda that way. But im just trying to make reason of his request.

I have in fact seen an EK (96-97) that had the textured black front and rear bumpers, like the 88-91 CX/DX EF's. It came that way from the factory. It was THE cheapest EK you could buy at the time. A teacher at my school had it.

I have seen black bumpers on EG's and on EK's and I like the way they look personally. Thats why I asked if anyone had them on their car.

I can take a pic of my unpainted black bumper and fender if you want
the rest of the car is also black, so there isnt much difference...other than shine (or lack thereof)

my brother has a flat black bumper on his red EH3 Hatch.. looks pretty good in my opinion. gives the car an aggressive look. By the way a truck ran over his bumper, and he didnt feel like paying for paint, so i got him a black bumper for christmas. that's why he has a black bumper, not because it's the next JDM thing. ***.
