Default anyone have aftermarket seat using exsisting brackets?

I just got a racing seat on clearance from JC Whitney and it came with no brackets and no sliders. So I thought I would do a trusty search on HT. What I did find was this...

According to this it seems like you just bolt a piece of flat bar to the seat and to the left side of the seat where the slider part is flat. But the right side is a little confusing. The part where the seat belt attaches to the side of the mount doesnt leave alot of room so it seems like i would have to make a L bracket and mount it sideways like this...

then bolt the seat to the two metal pieces. Anyone think this would make sense or am i missing something in the pictures?

*Edit* Is it because they are the 92-95 brackets? And if so would the L bracket make up for this?
