anyone with h22a civic experiance in here?
my friend is having a problem with his h22a 97 civic hatch. he used the hcp kit, prelude intermediate shaft with a 94 plus integra drivers side axle. Then on the passenger the 94 plus integra axle but i replaced the inner joint with that of a 92+ lude.
now heres the problem, from 5mph on up the car shakes extremely bad. any ideas here?

I've seen this once before with a b16a swap into an EF. It was the driveshaft. Installed crooked, so it just didn't match up right and our shop had to redo the whole thing. The swap was originally done by someone that obviously didn't know what they were doing.

I thought you were supposed to use the 90+ Accord half shaft with old school 90-93 Integra axles.
And I quote from HAsport directly
"Use 90 up Accord Intermediate shaft with 90-93 Integra axles.
To use the Prelude intermediate shaft a shorter left-hand axle with a female inner joint must be used. To construct the proper left-hand axle use 94 GSR left-hand axle inner and outer joints on an 86-89 Integra axleshaft."
I think this could be your problem.

the fact of the matter is b18c-ej1 is that its not a HAsport, different kit different specs. were not doubting you didnt help, but dont be an *** about it. plus he never said it was a different drive line

How can it matter if you use the Place racing, HCP or HASport kit.
Bottom line is there is a H22 engine in a EG chassis. Correct?
Then it sounds like he's using the wrong axles.
I'm not being a dick, but when someone comes in here, asks a question, then basically says "thanks for nothing", I get a bit upset.
"plus he never said it was a different drive line" Uh, yea you did, and I quote....
What you described is what we call "CV joint bind" where the kunckle doesn't have enough room to move because it is squished together when the car is lowered back down to the ground.
When the axles try to move, the joints are acutally binding togeher and thats where the shaking is coming from.
