anyone got ex motor laying around??
well i want the ex motor in my car the sohc vtec motor.. cause i wanna put that in my car and put a turbo on it to. well just let me know if u got one. thanks

i got one lying around
like all over my garage
i have ripped the head apart and taken the tranny apart, **** the cam is sitting on the floor by my feet
ill sell it to you but im not putting it back together
and sohc motors suck!

I propose a toast...to the 5 gazillionth hater on SOHC engines. SOHC engines are the most cost efficient engines to play with.

fa sho ppl hate to much on SOHC most of u ppl who swap in DOHC b series cant even go turbo cause you aint got the money, a boosted SOHC will beat most N/A DOHC anyday

Stock SOHC w\ Greddy Kit vs Stock B-Series...SOHC Looses...
All things being equal (Same Chassis).

I can name 5 people right now that I know personally running 12's on a SOHC turbo with no internal mods whatsoever. Only a lightened flywheel, ACT clutch, and turbo.

True, I have Sohc with Greddy Turbo Kit with IC.. I have a friend drive GSR with fully mods.. HE is a good driver and so we race each other on the track... I run 9 pound of boost and it had stock internal... SO I ran 13.9... Of course SOhc is a good motor and reliable.. Also I beat GSR 4 doors... I have a guy whose drive 95 Civic with Fmax turbo kit and stock internal.. He ran 12.7 in quarter mile... BElieve me... DOhc motor are great too but SOhc and Dohc are same honda motor...

its just stupid to waste money on a sohc motor, by a dohc vtec motor and then put a turbo on that then it will be fast and you will have something to brag about or lie about.....

I dont understand what is stupid about it. If it will run 12.5 on stock internals...imagine what it could do if you fully build the whole thing and up the boost.
