Default Anyone gettin bad MPG with a p28

i just noticed but im gettin really bad gas milage with the p28 anyone eles ever notice??? I mean how much more fuel does it acutually shoot in?? I used to get like 270-280 with a p72 but now that i got the p28 its down to like 220-230 and no i didnt floor the car since i got the p28 just wondering if anyone eles noticed the difference or is it just me??

STOCK P28, or reprogrammed? I'd think a stock P28 should not run so rich...

More info would be nice.

and when I tell of 375-400 miles per tank on a SOHC VTEC with a chipped ECU, will you listen.

nothing terrible on my P28...but i've been leaning it out a little bit with the V-AFC. i have the skunk program from Locash. you gotta tell us what program you have man...need more info!!!

My P28 from kenji here at H-t is totally nice - runs nice and just fine for me. I never drive my car conservatively though, so I could not tell you anything about my gas mileage.

If I wanted good mpg I'd get an INSIGHT

its the skunk2 program that causing you to have mpg, a friend of mine has it on his b16 and its doing the same thing

I think i watched the fuel needle MOVE when I ran a Mugen program from Locapoo poohink I got 175-180 miles on that tank.

I;m getting 40+ mpg with current P28 ECU chip.

do you have a chipped one or a stock one p28 i mean cause if it is chipped it might be chiped wrong if it is stock then you are just hittin vtec to much

Yup, the skunk program runs rich.
that's why i've been leaning it out a little bit here and there with the V-AFC...but nothing huge because the car hasn't seen a dyno yet.
