Default Anyone Fitted Spoon Calipers on your EG/EK?

Hi Everyone,

I just got a set of Spoon Twin Block Calipers from my friend. When he pass over to mi, there was only the Calipers and his old brake pads.

Since then after fitting the calipers, it has been giving me alot of problems as the brake pads have been rattling like hell when moving. I had skimmed my rotors 2 weeks ago and now it seems that the rotors need skimming again.

A friend of mine told mi that there should be a retainer as in the picture attached to keep the brake pads in place like other Brakes.

Like to ask anyone who had bought Spoon Calipers whether is there really a Retainer as in the Pic or is it really that the Spoon Calipers come without the Retainer as what my friend who had sold mi claimed...

I suspect the uneven wear of my rotors could be becos the Brake Pads keep moving inside the calipers while the car is moving.

I am using the Spoon Twin Block Caliper on my EK4 with a 5mm Spacer place behind the rotors. Rotor Size is 282mm from a Prelude redrilled to 4 lugs. Brake Pads is Endless VN9500.

Hope someone can shed some light for mi...
