Re: Anyone Dropzone Coilovers Info? (DIRTY FACE)
hehe...well some people will tell you they suck *** and bouncy as hell and some people will tell you that they are great. well i say they're ok for the money but save up and get some better ones like skunk2. dropzones arent really satisfying.

sleeved coil over are junk in my oppinion, a lot of people either say otherwise or just don't care and want to slam their car ignorantly. I say just buy a set of quality springs and a "new" set of shocks.your car will look good and handle better. unless however spend the money and buy a set of real coilovers that have a threaded shock body.

i have em, but ive never driven my car because my swap is still in progress. i was told they were ground control til i got the car home and went to work on it and saw they were drop zone. i havent heard great things but you get what you pay for i guess.

I don't think Skunk2 can really be considered an upgrade from DropZone, they are just as bouncy. If you want a good riding fairly inexpensive coilover sleeve, I would go with Ground Control with custom rates. If you have a civic(which I am assuming since you are in the eg/ek forum) then I would get some coilovers for an Integra, they are stiffer because an Integra is heavier than a Civic. You can get a new set of Ground Control coilovers for around $250 if you look in the right places
I would get struts later down the road or right away depending on your cash...

The ride will suck. I've heard a lot of ppl not liking them. Plus I'm not a fan of coil slevees.

Re: Anyone Dropzone Coilovers Info? (The G2 Racer)
in my opinion, I think the Ground Controls ride just as nice as lowering springs. Ground Controls use Eibach springs which are quality springs, so if you don't go with the Ground Control I would do a Eibach spring setup. Personally, I like coilovers because if you are not satisfied with the height you can always adjust it, with springs you are stuck with it, and you better hope it isn't too low cuz that would be the problem!

you would be better off with something like, ground control and the some decent dampers later on down the road

Where are the right places that sell GC coilovers for $250?
I'll grab a set for that price for sure.
