Default NEED HELP! WITH AUTO TO MANUAL TRANNY SWAP!

Does anyone know the best way to do a automatic to manual transmission swap?

I have a d16y8 block/head. I bought a d16y8 motor with a s40 tranny still on it. I want the tranny and I am selling the motor to another friend. Has 48k miles on it.

All that I know of is I have linkage and the tranny...
- I need pedal assembly
- Shift assembly
- Shifet/****/boot
- New seals and Shift bushings

What else do I need to do the swap.. I need any and all advice you may have. Thanks

Got one quick question. I was told I would have to swap Intake Manifolds as well maybe even Throttle Boddies.. Is this true and is there any special way to do it?

auto and manual intake mani's are different, and the pedal assembly is the same from 96-00

Sorry but the sticky does not say anything about which pedals i can and cannot use. Doesnt say which years and models will fit my 99ex.

As i said before i heard u have to do an intake manifold swap but the sticky doesnt say anything about it. maybe there is a way to do it without the swap and I would like to know if there is or not. Now stop being a dick and help a noob out.
