Anyone with a auto 97 civic ex?
I am looking to buy one after getting my gsr stolen yesterday. Saw one @45k miles for $7800, a 97 ex coupe. It's an auto though so it was pretty sluggish compared to my geeser and even my old 92 manual celica. It's got a 7rpm so it should have enough get go. What are some easy fixes to make it accelerate faster? headers and intake enough? I dont want to mess with the exhaust, dont have much money anyway. Needing info from any owners out there. What problems should I expect?

my 97 ex is a auto the only thing i noticed a diffrence on was the cai and the lowering springs the exhaust was not even noticeable at all so save all the money you where going to spend on that stuff and buy a turbo and a level 10 torgue conveter

my civic before it went through it's transformation was a auto sohc. All i did was put on a greddy evo exhaust and the greddy turbo kit. With that i went from low 18's to a 14.9@95mph on 5.5psi. That's about it. With bolt ons, i've seen friends run in the 17's and 16's.

i paid 450 for greddy evo and pretty sure you can find greddy kits on ebay for about 1400. im going to have my auto tranny rebuilt within the next month, also will get a torque converter.
