Anybody work as a Honda mechanic or know the service procedure for 75k on B18C1?
I scheduled my appt for to have my oil changed with my dealer and the mileage on my B18C1 is at 75k..they told my g/f (since i wasnt here) that this is a time to "check the engine". Does anybody know the procedure via helms, working for Honda whatever? Just want to know if I should be ready to go in there and theyre going to rip my block apart or if they are going to check compression or whatever...thanks in advance

im assuming the car has a new tb/and pump from the old owner...owned the car since 65k and have changed the oil once so far..the dealer said everything looked good when it went it last time.
as for DIY, out of the question, I do not have the tools nor the skill to do that *****

Whats up man.. its me.. Champ... ahhh.. you might want to have the timing belt checked, wp etc.. i had everything else checked when i had it.. i had the valves adjusted in it right before i sold it to you.. dont know how hard you drive it but you might want it done again.. but i know that motor ran excellent when i had it.. good compression etc.. just a heads up.. talk to you later.. thanks..

HAHAHAHAHa, they say it looks good. I am a mechanic, I know what's up. by looking good, they usually mean, no leaks, running good, and clean. My suggestion would be to change the timing belt, just in case it was never changed before. And as for service. I would change: sparkplugs, cap+rotor, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, adjust timing if off, fuel system cleaner, clean throttle body (very good to do!). Check your belts, and maybe change the coolant and tranny fluid.
