no its not sparco its some weird company in canada i think
I remember them selling 2 type
race and show
race you can snap your steering wheel off
show u need a key to snap the steering wheel

thecompany name is 'grant' they also make a whole bunch of stering wheels ,like the chromed out chain steering wheels you see on many lowriders

the steering wheel will sit about 2" closer to you, which doesn`t sound like much, but defeinetely not safe on the street.

I believe you are referring to the company called Tecknique(sp) They make a street type removable wheel and a race version that pops off easily.
I forgot the url but hopefully the name of the company can get you somewhere.
