Default Any way to get rid of shock squeak??

Ok, my right rear agx is blown, and I have enough for a swap now, so i really don't wanna send all my agx's to get revalved and shortened just yet. I tried changing around the setting on that shock and it doesn't make any difference. Is there any way to just get the squeak out of it for maybe a couple days(drench in WD-40?, some magical pixy dust?, i'll try JUST about anything). As I need to get it inspected, and I don't think they take too kindly to blown shocks. TIA y'all

P.S.- First person to say "buy new shocks" gets a fAwK you!!!

In NJ, they put our cars on four individual platforms that move to "simulate" bumps.

From what I understand, my brother could role through "inspection" in Florida with a completely gutted cat, so states definitely vary.

Hmmm. I live in PA. Not really sure how hardcore they are about this stuff. Thanks for the info. Anybody actually spray lithium grease or anything like that on a strut before?? Did it make any diff.??

If the shock is blown, squirting a bunch of LI grease up there isn't going to make much of a difference as far as damaging something, and it just may solve your problem.

I guess it won't hurt. I'll let you know any effects. Good, bad, or explosive
