any tips for removing the engine in a 95?

Default any tips for removing the engine in a 95?

i've done an engine swap in my 90 civic, so i have some experience. now i'm getting ready to swap engines in my 95 civic ex, and wanted to know if anyone had any tips or tricks to doing it? any hepgul adive would be appreciated.

well that depend on what motor you going to be swapping into the 95 ex....pretty much the D's & B's swap are simple drop in with or without any mods but like i say dependong on what motor you going to have in there..

but as for removing the motor out it pretty simple and same as for the 90 civic you say you did..

Get a helms. Follow it step by step and it will be EXTREMLY easy.

air tools..
make sure you have extra breaker bars

i have the helms, and know it fairly well.

i'm really just asking if there were any little tricks you found when you were pulling an engine.

not really, disconnect everything, drain everything, pull out the axles, either drop it or pull it. Really easy swap

well if you got a car hoist, unbolt the motor and raise the car, easier coming out the bottem then top. that is my helpful tip.

i just swaped mine
takes a good 3 hours of unbolting
get air gun and egine hoist
take out tranny with engine

i've done it on both chassis's. i think the eg is actually easier. For one, the hood opens way wide, almost completely vertical, so you don't have to take it off. Also, you don't have to take out the radiator.

I don't know I think it's easier to get the motor out from underneath, you can pull it out in less then an hour.
