Any tips or heads up for cam/HG install?
Well I'm pretty confident I'm all prepared...
Got my headstuds, head gasket, cam, springs, retainers, loctite, assembly lube...
Anything I'm forgetting or may come up in the process?
T-Belt/water pump etc was all done under 10k ago so I'm not doing all that again.
I'll also be doing it at a 4 bay shop with a pretty ample supply room and plenty of tools so I should be ok but it's always worth checking.

Depends on what your level of experience with engine work is.
Just take your time, make note of where everything goes when you take it apart, and hope you don't have any leftover parts when you're done Also, make sure you have a Chilton's manual, FSM, or make sure that the shop has access to something like Mitchell On-Demand or AllData so you can get the torque specs and sequence for the head bolts right.

I got a helms and I'm more than competant... so I'm really just lookng for pointers from those who've done it several times and have come up with time saving techniques or have noticed something specific that always goes bad during the install or after etc...
Just looking for the inside scoop y0!
