Default Any news on Engine Displacement upgrade for 05 civic

I've learned that 05 civics in some Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, etc. have 2.0 engines now.

Any news here in the US?

Thanks.

i dont know, but is it just me or are the newer civics looking uglier and uglier? i think honda is going ugly on their cars. i still like some new acura body style, but im really hopeing honda just jumps back to vintage styling soon or ill end up driving a 20 year old civic in 10 years!

I wanna see em bring back something with an EF rear end and an EG front. That would be tight.

The looks are okay....I think all civics need to come with K series engines!

And ditch the current suspension.

Some non-us Civics can get the 2.0 K-series but the us can't.

ditto

But I think the restyled 04's are better than the 01-03. Previous generations were better. But my fav is probably the 6th gen.
