Any idea how much a complete shortblock weighs?
its a d16z6, just the lower half of the engine. its all complete oil pan and up. thanks for your help

B sereis weighs around 80 lbs assembled shortblock.
I'm a little guy and I can pick it up and move it around if I have to. Not easy though.
So D series probaby weighs somewhere around 70-75 lbs.
These figures DO NOT include tranny.

yeh its not too bad, one person can lift em but they are a bit heavy. I was gonna guess around 100 lbs but he beat me to it by sayin 80.

yah i wanted to ship a short block out today, its just a complete d series no trans, i can lift mine too, but not for long, lol. man maybe h-motors knows?

I didn't say 200-300 becuase I can't lift one, I haven't tried.
