any help
i just got rear ended today. lucky it wasnt my fault. i stoped at a light and then bam. the car behind me hit me. theres scratches on my bumper. is there anything else i can check to make sure my car is alright. should i take off my rear bumper and check the frame? how much do you think i would get out of this if i dont report this to dmv? the other car hit me pretty good.

you dont have to report anything to the DMV under $500, so dont worry about it. About the damage, is the bumper still line up correctly to the car? if so....All you have to do is paint it, and if you want a good job you are looking at about $300. Hope that help

I would take your car to the shop to get it checked out.
I rear ended someone a few years ago in a civic. His bumper only had scuff marks on it, but when he took it to the body shop, they found crinkles in the trunk.
Needless to say, it was about 2500 to fix his car.
