I'm ruinning an si motor with a gsr tranny and modified linkage fron an integra... still using the same shifter that I used on my DA.
B&M lists 88-00 civic and 90-01 teg shifters as all having the same part no.

i heard you can use del sol without any mods, i could be wrong, i liked the gsr shifter but i had a civic shift linkage so i had to mod my gsr shifter to make it work

ok well i asked this because i had a shortshifter in my ek with gsr tranny and linkage, and i was having trouble getting it into 2,4,reverse. i thought the throw on the shifter might be different and causing the problem. i put my old d16 shifter in with the gsr linkage tonight and it helped a little bit, but its not normal still. are 94-00 teg linkages the same as 99-00 si??

i was told that certain ones had a thinner mounting width at the linkage than others. i believe it was the 92-95 civics and the pre 94 tegs are the thinner verses the 96-00 civic and 94 + tegs.
anyone confirm this? cause when i bought an ebay special short shifter for 92-95 civic i had to place 2 nuts between the linkage and the shifter as spacers or is it just the cheapo shifter??
