Some one hit my del sol in a parking lot and i dont know who did it--- So basicaly it was i hit and run. I dont have full coverage on my car so the insurance wont pay for it. At a shop they want to charge me $2,500 to fix it. I said skrew it ill do it my self. So i bought the driver side rear quarter panel, but cant find any instructions on how to remove it, or put it on. First of all, you need a welder. Is that enough info for you? Unless you have a lot of experience, you will need the shop to do it for you. Not trying to be mean, just trying to be realistic. My dad has been painting cars for over 20 years, and we just painted my whole car, and I know he wouldn't want to take that on. He probably could (assuming we had a welder), but it surely wouldn't be fun.

you have to cut it at the seams with a shear then reweld the new one on not worth the time unless you dont care how it looks in the end and want to diy just to say you did it's pretty complicated must reseal at the seams bondo and much more if you do try good luck was a paint apprentice for a little bit
