anyway to check to see if they are blown with out taking them off the car and out of the spings. My ride has been riding pretty ruff since my drop/camber kit/ aligment. Im not sure if the struts are blown or im bottoming out on the struts?

do the bounce test. Push on a corner of your car, and if they keep bouncing after 3 times up and down, they are blown.

nothing its just stiff as hell thats it , it doesnt even move

i usually check for oil leaking. checked my friends i see a large amount of black dirt cake up on the shock. so i put my finger in the shock rod and i felt oil he had a blown shock.

You can usually see (and feel) the fluid all over the outside of the strut.

ok i guess im bottoming out then who knows?

when you have the strut out of the car. push down on it and it should slowly come back up on its own. if not, then its blown..
