Default antifreeze smoking?

my car is in storage, but the last time i went to start it up i left the hood up. as i was sitting in my car i noticed that right next to the radiator where my coolant is, it started smoking/steaming. (the car was warmed up, but not over heating) I checked my coolant level and it is just under the MINIMUM line. Also, some coolant was on the radiator.

Is the smoke due to a leak, or the level of antifreeze?

You have a coolant leak. The "smoke" you saw was in fact steam that is created from the water in the coolant boiling off. Find the source of the leak and replace the faulty part.

Check for leak around the upper tank and around the neck. Sometimes they will crack after all its made of plastic.
