Re: antenea help (jasonscivic)
when i had my car painted,i had them shave the antenna.my roomate workes at a car audio shop.he got me a powered stick-on antenna from Metra.i just ran the 5' of cord it comes with behind the a-pillar cover and then zippy-tied the antenna unit(about 1" square by 4" long)to the "oh-****" handle bracket.it actually gets better reception than the stock antenna did!costs around $20 i think, should eb able to get it at any car audio shop.if you can't find one,let me know.

Re: antenea help (TeamNextGenChris)
whats with the two connectors? nevermind, one is for power, duh
How did you wire it? as in, to what power?
did you try to hide it in the a pillar? (haven't had mine off, so I don't know if there is room)

Re: antenea help (HybridEarthquake)
there's just the normal antenna plug, then the power wire.it goes to the ignition 12v wire for your head unit.....there's a little room behind the pillar cover.i don't have the headliner or b/c pillar covers in my car,but i'm sure with them in there's enough room to mount the box part.

Re: antenea help (TeamNextGenChris)
sounds good, I was thinking of getting rid of my stock antenna and going with a VDub unit, but i might just have to go with the hide away you were talking about and just get rid of the external antenna all together. Good tip.
