F'ed up,that **** makes my ***** hurt!! best way to DIY security is to wire a WELL HIDDEN kill switch to your fuel pump. no fuel,no go (unless they tow it)

The steering wheel is a pretty good deterrent also. I have the Lock on mine for when my wheels removed. I'm sure its not full proof tho

Sucks to hear. Hopefully they can at least find the a-holes that did it.
At least you had pretty good security and they didn't take BOTH cars. That would definitely suck.
If you can't garage that hatch, I'd try to add some other form of security. Maybe you've convinced the amateurs that your car isn't worth it, but they may have more experienced friends...

Post plate #s and VINs if you want any help getting it back bro, sorry to hear and good thing they didn't take the boosted civic ...**** them fools! I'm always in North Dallas and my car has been safe (knock on wood) but it also has a few kill switches and an 2way alarm with a pager so only way its leaving is if it gets towed.

Nothing worse than a thief. Sorry to hear about your car. See my thread I started the other day about what makes these cars easy to steal. I really like your idea of a hidden kill switch. I need to do that with mine to keep that from happening. Freaking leaches.

Re: another stolen civic north of dallas
i am leaving my hatch somewhere else for a few weeks, not taking any chances, and i may try to find another place to wire in another kill switch that is impossible to find, unfortunantly my wifes car had no form of security considering it was a stock 4 door with a d15, i didnt assume it was going to be a target, and they havnt found the car yet, im really hoping they find it soon, i love hondas, but damn, i am really unsure if i want to get my wife another civic, and if i do it will be tamper proof this time!
